The women's jail ministry is growing so rapidly that we are needing to make adjustments to keep up with the growth. I had a meeting last night with Tomi Cardin the winning group leader, her coach Michelle Turner, and Winning Group director Kitty White.
Tomi took us into her home office, where she keeps a file folder for every woman she ministers to in the jail. She keeps track of what levels they completed in the Winning Track along with other information. So far over 500 Winning Track certificates have been awarded.
We recently had 8 women from the jail ministry, in attendance at a Summit Sunday encounter. They are quickly getting jobs upon release by the favor of God. They are growing spiritually and learning how to apply the teachings they received in the jail, to life on the outside. I look forward to them living an overcoming life, stepping into leadership and reaching back to help those who "are" where they came from.
Many of these women are getting out of jail and plugging right into the ministry of Summit Church. Tomi's house can hardly obtain all of the people who attend the group. She has overflow attendance. Cars are lined up and down the street. She is planning to expand to a 2nd night. Three groups are ready to multiply out of this group. It's exciting to see the Winning Group vision come to pass; lives being changed by the power and Word of God, and multiplication (fruit).
All glory to God!
